Prophetic Insight & Advancing Technology
We are living in a time where it seems like everything is changing, transforming, and speeding up. In some ways the world we live in now is even different from 5-10 years ago. When we stepped into 2020, we truly entered a new time and era as was prophesied. Although it may seem like we’re starting to live in a time and world that’s unfamiliar Solomon says this in Ecclesiastes 1:9 NLT, “9 History merely repeats itself. It has all been done before. Nothing under the sun is truly new.” Yes, things are advancing and changing but fear not, nothing is taking God by surprise. To encourage you, change is not necessarily, all bad. We’re truly going to begin to see great advancements in the realms of technology and medicine.
I want to preface this that not all advancement in technology and the medical field is bad. What makes it bad is the heart of the one who is creating it and the source its coming from. I do believe in the days to come technology, artificial intelligence, and the medical field will be wrapped together as one and will be a great force. Some of the things that come forth will be good and the other half will be things that we need to pray against. There are those who are seeking to play God and push the limitations or humanity and technology together. One night a couple months ago, I was reading some movie plots to see what movie I wanted to watch. I came across the movie, Spiderhead. The title and the synopsis caught my attention but, I wasn’t sure if I would watch the movie because of the content in it. The premise of the movie is a private scientist does experiments on those coming out of jail to try and rehabilitate them. But this scientist has ill motives and tries to push the limits of a human with certain medicines and extreme scenarios. Greed and money were also driving this scientist to play God on these people.
Often God will use pictures and things I read or see before bed as a springboard into encounters. That night I went to bed, I had an encounter where it was like I went into the movie I read about. In this encounter, I found myself going into a type of doctor’s office. When I got there, I had to put on a hospital gown and I was given a purple pill to take. I took this purple pill and laid down on the medical table and went to sleep. Although I was asleep, I was awake as well. The doctor and their assistant were next to me and were recording what I was saying. Even though was sleeping, this purple pill caused me to tell them my thoughts and dreams as they were coming. I had no control over what I could or could not say. It was something out of a Matrix movie. After I woke up in the dream, I saw a file with my name on it and all the things this doctor wrote down. They opened the file and began to go over with me what happened with their experiment and the purple pill and the dream ended.
I believe the things that happened in my dream are happening already and even in greater levels. If you pay attention to Hollywood, they will often present or prophesy in movies what the powers at be are doing and desire to do. As I prayed into this dream, the Lord highlighted Psalm 34:8 NKJV, “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!” Along with this scripture, the Lord began to speak to me about Genesis 3 when Adam and Eve were deceived, and they ate the forbidden fruit from the Tree of Good and Evil. It’s not that God wanted to keep this tree from them, He wanted to reveal good and evil to them when the time was right. When Adam and Eve ate the fruit, their eyes were open to a demonic system of knowledge and fallen wisdom, but it cost them their relationship with God. There will always be a cost or spiritual death that takes place when we substitute God’s way for the enemy’s way.
We can also see this play out in Genesis 11 when the Tower of Babel was being built. The backstory to this is, fallen angels began to lust after the women of the earth and laid with them and began to have children. Since these fallen angels were in the earth, they began to share their knowledge and technology with the people of that time. There was great advancement, but it was not from the Lord. They were advancing using a demonic system or a fallen system of knowledge. This knowledge caused them to think they were like God and they were going to build a tower to reach him. Genesis 11:3-4 says ,” 3 Then they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks and [b]bake them thoroughly.” They had brick for stone, and they had asphalt for mortar. 4 And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.” It’s important to note here anytime God’s people would build they were instructed to cut out the stone from the rock. God’s people never made bricks to build. Making the bricks is a depiction of human effort. God was not in it.
In today’s society we can correlate the making of the bricks, to those using technology for ungodly or humanistic gains. There are those like Elon Musk who have been experimenting with brain chips to alter the brain in good and in negative ways. Elon’s goal is to merge human conscious and artificial intelligence. We’re going to see this increase in the days to come as artificial intelligence comes to the forefront. We must pray against mind control and creating artificial intelligence for harmful reasons. I even had a dream a couple years ago, where I saw super soldiers being trained just like what we see in the movies. I believe what I experienced in my dream, is taking place in labs and will come out in this decade. We must pray for godly scientists and those that will use technology, for the right purposes. We need watchmen on the wall praying for this area of society because the enemy wants to manipulate this area and use it for his gain. Man is getting curious and desires to push the limits to tap into other sources. We see this with the recent refiring of the cern. There are those that wish to open up portals and demonic portals to “see” what’s out there. We must use wisdom because what seems like an outlandish movie plot will become a reality if we’re not careful.
