Prophetic Dream:The Hail Storm
This morning (7/26/21) I had a dream about a coming hail storm that caught my attention because it’s not something I’ve usually dreamt about. In the dream, it was night time and I was walking the streets guided by the street lights
heading to church. Suddenly a storm arose and it started to hail like crazy. I started to pick up the pace and run to the church because the hail was painful with each hit I took. I reached the church and was safe from the hail storm. A friendly woman greeted me at the door. The greeters were handing out gloves and hats to those coming in from the storm. She was able to find me a pair of pale yellow gloves that matched my pale yellow stocking hat.
As I prayed into the interpretation of the dream, I felt the darkness of the night represented the darkness of Isa 60. Although it was dark I was guided by the light or the glory of the Lord. The darkness may increase but glory in the midst will be even greater and brighter (Isa 60:2). Throughout the Bible, hail is something the Lord has used to deal with His enemies. Job 38: 22-23 NLT says, “Have you visited the storehouses of the snow or seen the storehouses of hail? (I have reserved them as weapons for the time of trouble, for the day of battle and war.)”
Hail is also one of the judgements or plagues the Lord used to deal with wicked kings such as Pharaoh and to deal with sin and wickedness in the land. We see this depicted in Exodus 9: 22-26 NLT, “Then the Lord said to Moses, “Lift your hand toward the sky so hail may fall on the people, the livestock, and all the plants throughout the land of Egypt.” So Moses lifted his staff toward the sky, and the Lord sent thunder and hail, and lightning flashed toward the earth. The Lord sent a tremendous hailstorm against all the land of Egypt. Never in all the history of Egypt had there been a storm like that, with such devastating hail and continuous lightning. It left all of Egypt in ruins. The hail struck down everything in the open field—people, animals, and plants alike. Even the trees were destroyed. The only place without hail was the region of Goshen, where the people of Israel lived.”
We are living in unprecedented times. We are seeing interesting weather phenomenons, natural disasters, and pandemics like never before. Jesus mentions these things will take place in Matthew 24. In this season I believe we’re going to see an increase of hail storms and unusual hail storms popping up. This will be a prophetic sign that the Lord is releasing his judgment and justice on the sin and wickedness running rampant in the nations. Where there is no repentance it causes the hedge of protection or the hand of God to be pulled back because the hearts of the people have become callous. When these storms come may it cause our hearts to shift back to the Lord is repentance so the hedge of the Lord can be raised backed over the nations.
I want to encourage you despite the storms and judgments coming, the Lord is safe place of refuge. In the dream I found safety as I ran into the church. Proverbs 18:10 AMP says, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous runs to it and is safe and set on high [far above evil].” As the end times progress the church will be a safe haven for believers.
In the dream I was hit and affected by the hail but it didn’t take me out because I was protected by the Lord.
In the dream I was wearing a yellow hat and gloves. The Lord is equipping us to endure the things that will come. The yellow represents the glory and anointing that will empower us. The yellow can also represent the spirit of understanding ( Isa 11:2). There is a promise for the believers as we run into the safety of God no matter how dark and crazy it gets (Ps 91). Purity and repentance will cause us to rise above the plagues, judgments, and warfare. There is safety in the house of the Lord and in believing the word of the Lord from His true prophets (2 Chronicles 20:20).
One of the people I shared this dream with sent me a video of a massive hail storm that occurred the same day 7/26/21 as this dream in Italy. I had no idea this happened. I believe it’s the Lord’s confirmation.
