MY ENCOUNTER WITH THE ANGEL & BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE DURING THIS SEASON OF KINSLEV
Lastnight 11/25/21 after we had gotten home from the Thanksgiving festivities, I noticed quite a bit of angelic activity. Because of the increased angelic activity, I decided to stay up and spend some time with the Lord. I worshipped and studied some passages of scripture, and wrote in my journal what the Lord was speaking to me. I then began to pray in the spirit. As I prayed in my prayer language, I had an inner vision of this angel writing down what I was praying. When I stopped praying this angel stopped writing. I started praying again and the angel went back to recording what I praying. I began to ask the Lord what was taking place. The Lord told me he had sent a scribing or a recording angel to write what I was praying to bring it before the Lord.
As I prayed about the understanding of this encounter the Lord brought me to Malachi 3. Malachi 3:16 says, “Then those who feared the Lord spoke with each other, and the Lord listened to what they said. In his presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared him and always thought about the honor of his name.” I believe this is word for the Body of Christ. The Lord wants His people to know they are not forgotten. He has sent forth His angels to record the petitions and prayers of His sons and daughters. These prayers have been recorded in the Book of Remembrance that resides in Heaven. Heaven is taking note of what is dear and precious to your heart. Yes the warfare and the times are intense but, the Lord wants His people to know that He is perfecting that which concerns His people (Psalm 138:8). God has not forgotten you. There is a reward for your faithfulness.
We have been in a season where many have been heart sick because hope has been deferred (Proverbs 13:12). Part of November and the beginning of December coincides with the Hebrew month Kinslev. Kinslev has a couple meanings but, one of the main meanings that stuck was the meaning of hope. Hope meaning that even though we are in dark times, we can have a hope and confidence that anchors us. Psalm 78:7 TPT declares, “In this way, every generation will set its hope in God and not forget his wonderful works but keep his commandments.” The Lord is breathing upon the hearts of His people. He’s coming for those areas of doubt and unbelief. I believe this encounter is a confirmation to another encounter I had recently where the Lord showed me He was resurrecting hope.
Beloved He has not forgotten you.
In closing there are two things that will help you during this season:
Philippians 4:6-8 tells us to not be anxious but make our request know to God. Prayer is a weapon against fear, anxiety, and worry. I encourage you to not only pray but pray in the Spirit. Jude 1:20 tells us to build ourselves up by praying in the spirit. Notice in my encounter when I was praying in the spirit, that’s when the angel began to record my prayers. I didn’t have have language in the natural for what was on my heart or in my spirit, but the Spirit of God did.
In Malachi 3:16, shares that when the people of God came together in His presence and shared what God had spoken to them, it caused the attention of Heaven to come upon them. The Lord bent His ear towards His people. It touched His heart so much that He had the angels record each name present. I encourage to never stop testifying of God’s goodness to one another. As we testify together it causes the Heavens to begin to open. The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy (Revelation 19:10).
