It's Time For The Church To Flip The Script
In a dream this morning (8/31/21) I was going to minister at a large church. A couple hours before I was supposed to minister my assistant hands me this “script” or this stack of stapled papers over 40 pages long. My assistant told me the church I was ministering at wanted me to use that script to minister from tonight. I begin to tell my assistant I cannot use that script, and that I don’t even know what’s in there. I can’t use that script because I have a word from the Lord to release. I begin to get ready to minister and I’m going back and forth about weather to use this script or not, or maybe I could use a portion of it somehow. But finally when I was ready, I told my assistant I cannot use this. I have a word from the Lord to release to this church.
A script is to write out and plan how something will happen or be done (merriam-webster). As I pressed in for more understanding of the dream, I heard Holy Spirit say, “It’s time to flip the script!” The Lord is really dealing with religious scripts, rituals, and systems. It’s time stop allowing ourselves to be scripted and live by the script. There’s a fresh freedom and breath of God the Lord is breathing upon those who are hungry. Prophetic voices we cannot afford to bow down to the system or go by the script. We must boldly proclaim the unadulterated Word of God!!
